You walk down into Signal House and suddenly you're somewhere properly different — neon glowing off the walls, the beep-boop soundtrack of classic arcade cabinets competing with a decent sound system, and bartenders who actually care about what they're pouring. It's the kind of place that could've been a gimmick (cocktails! arcade! look how fun!), but instead it's become genuinely good at being a bar that happens to have games, not the other way round. The crowd's a proper mix — groups hunting high scores, dates looking for something with actual personality, mates just wanting good drinks in a space that doesn't take itself seriously.
