You'll find this polished drinking den right in the thick of Wind Street's chaos, but it's managed to carve out its own sophisticated identity amongst the student haunts. The interior feels properly thought-through – all exposed brick and industrial touches without being try-hard about it. They've nailed the tricky balance of being somewhere you can grab a decent flat white at 9am, then return for expertly mixed cocktails after work. The bartenders actually know what they're doing, which isn't always a given on this strip. It gets properly busy at weekends when the Wind Street crowd descends, but the quality doesn't drop even when they're three-deep at the bar.
