You walk into The Bank and immediately get why they've done the whole converted-bank thing seriously rather than as a gimmick. High ceilings, confident bar setup, the kind of place that makes Wood Street feel like somewhere worth being on a Friday night. The cocktails are genuinely well-made (not overcomplicating things), and the grill menu takes itself seriously without being poncy about it. It's become the sort of place where locals actually want to hang around, not just somewhere to tick off before heading elsewhere.
