You walk into Corarima on Cross Street and immediately feel the shift. This isn't fusion nonsense or Instagram theatre—it's genuine Ethiopian cuisine done with real care. The injera arrives spongy and properly sour, the kind you can actually use to tear into their berbere-spiced doro wat or silky misir wat. There's something about eating family-style here that makes you slow down, actually talk to the people you're with. It's unpretentious without being cheap about it, busy without feeling rushed, and honestly it punches well above what you'd expect from a Wakefield restaurant.
