You walk into La Casa and immediately feel like you've stepped into somewhere that takes itself seriously without being a complete pain about it. This is proper Spanish food—not the mediocre tapas-bar nonsense you find everywhere else in East London. The kitchen clearly knows their way around a pan, and the reviews speak for themselves: locals keep coming back because the food's genuinely good and the place doesn't pretend to be anything it's not.
