You're heading out towards Chandler's Cross, away from the town centre chaos, to what used to be actual stables at The Grove estate. It's the kind of place that takes itself seriously without being insufferable about it—proper tablecloths, knowledgeable staff, the lot. The kitchen does contemporary British cooking that respects its ingredients, and they've clearly thought hard about the wine pairings.
