You're walking down Church Street, past the usual high street suspects, and OXBO sits there with enough personality to make you stop. It's the sort of place that's quietly become a favourite with people who live round here and can't be bothered with chain restaurants anymore. The vibe is refreshingly unbothering—smart enough for a date night but relaxed enough that you won't feel like you've got to dress up. They've got a decent wine list and the bar staff seem to actually care about what they're making you, which is rarer than it should be in Woking town centre.
