Walk down Sidbury towards the river and you'll find yourself in one of Worcester's most reliably good restaurants. Benedicto's has that comfortable, unfussy Italian feel—checkered tablecloths, warm lighting, and enough regulars to make you feel like you're missing out if you're not here. The kitchen clearly knows what it's doing: fresh pasta that tastes like it should, sauces that taste like sauces rather than something that's been sitting under a heat lamp, and they're not trying to reinvent the wheel with foam or tweezers. Service is friendly without being fussy, and the wine list actually makes sense. It's the sort of place you go back to because it gets it right.
