You'll find yourself squeezing into Rise on a Saturday morning with half of York, which tells you everything you need to know. The vibe is deliberately casual—stripped-back interiors, mismatched seating, the sort of place where your cappuccino arrives in proper glassware and your eggs are cooked with actual thought. It's not trying to be clever about it, just consistently good at the fundamentals.
