Salvation

You head down to Tanner Row expecting the usual York night out, but Salvation's got more backbone than most of the bars around the city centre. It's the kind of place where people actually come to dance rather than just stand about nursing an overpriced mojito. The sound system does what it's supposed to do, the DJ knows what they're playing, and the crowd's there for the right reasons. It gets busy on weekends—properly busy—so arrive early if you want space to move around without feeling like a sardine in a tin.
