You've probably walked past this bright red signage countless times while heading to the cinema or Tesco, but the American diner experience at Parc Tawe is actually worth a proper visit. The pancakes are genuinely massive – think three fluffy stacks that could feed a small family – and they do a decent Grand Slam breakfast that'll sort you right out after a heavy night on Wind Street. The staff are sound and the portions are properly generous, which makes the slightly higher prices feel reasonable enough. It's not fine dining by any stretch, but when you're craving something different from the usual Cardiff Road chains, this does the job nicely. The milkshakes are thick enough to stand a spoon in, and they don't judge you for ordering breakfast at teatime.
