The Holmfield Arms delivers exactly what you need from a local boozer - solid Sunday roasts, fish and chips that don't disappoint, and pints pulled properly. The interior ticks all the familiar pub boxes with dark wood, cushioned banquettes, and enough space that you're not breathing down your neighbour's neck. What sets this place apart from other chain pubs is the consistency and the fact they actually seem to care. The staff know their regulars, the kitchen doesn't phone it in, and opening from 7am means you can sort yourself out with a proper breakfast before facing the day.
