You know what you're getting when you walk into this Westgate branch, and sometimes that's exactly what you want. The chicken is consistently good - properly marinated and grilled, not the dry disaster you'll find elsewhere. The extra hot sauce will genuinely test your mettle, while the mild keeps the kids happy. It's not trying to be anything fancy, which works in its favour. The staff are sound, the place is clean, and you can park right outside without having to navigate Wakefield's one-way system nightmare. When you're shopping at the retail park and need something more substantial than a Greggs pasty, this does the job nicely. The butterfly chicken with peri chips remains their strongest offering.
